3.12 – He that is without sin… – The Emergency Coven

"What happened, then?" asks the priest. The vampire looks away, now answering. "He's dead, isn't he?" the priest continues. Slowly, the vampire starts to explain: "T-there was a lot of blood in the house... I tried to resist, but--" "You couldn't" the priest finishes the sentence for him. The vampire stares at the man, angry: "He was a MURDERER! And he would have used his tricks to turn yet another innocent kid on THEIR side! It's not a big loss!" "He that is without sin, let him cast the first stone..." quotes the priest, looking at the vampire. He winces, turning his head away: "Urgh! A-alright, I was just..." "I know what you mean", says the priest "but it's not up to us to decide the fate of another living creature. Not like this". The vampire looks down and plays with his gloves, embarassed: "I... right. I'm such a hypocrite, aren't I?"
