4.8 – Long Story – The Emergency Coven

"Adrian? Open the door", says a feminine voice out of field. "Who's that? Your girlfriend?" asks Aaron. "Huh?" Adrian turns to look at the door, "no, it sounded like..." "Quickly, please" the voice outside interrupts him. Adrian rolls his eyes and rubs his neck, annoyed: "Just a second! Aaron... that's your name, right?" "Uh, yes?" "Go cover yourself". "Oh. Right. Sure". Aaron is confused, but he doesn't ask any questions and picks up a blanket that was covering the sofa. In the meantime, Adrian opens the door: "Aaliyah? What's wrong? Did Crawford give you a hard time?" "Sort of", she replies, "It's alright now. But he wants to see you". "Me?" Adrian grimaces. "Apparently, he wanted to do so last night, but then you ran off and... well, he wants you at the police station, now" she explains. " Adrian crosses his arms: "Why? Couldn't he just give me a call?" "It's... a long story". "Uh, any troubles?" Aaron intervenes, peeking from behind the door. Aaliyah's eyes widen in surprise: "Who is he?" "Long story" replies Adrian, side-eyeing Aaron.
