Adrian points at a polaroid on the table and asks Crawford about it. He doesn't seem to think much of it, but does mention that Kane was part of a group of "satan worshippers". He can't remember the exact name of the demon they worshipped, but Adrian does: Baal-Berith. And then... everything clicks together. Adrian realizes that the thing causing the murders is the same from ten years ago and reminisces about his past investigation and... a possessed woman whose clothes are drenched in blood.

Adrian: It’s happening again.

Voice out of field: The Keeper has been left without a guide.
Flashback: a crime scene. There’s a corpse on the floor, covered with a blanket, and the same symbol seen in the photo drawn on the floor with blood.

Voice out of field: He needs help.
Flashback: more corpses on the floor, a woman draws a symbol on the floor using blood. We can’t see her face.

Voice out of field: You’re the only one left…
Flashback: The woman raises her head and smiles. Her red eyes show that she’s clearly possessed.
