Adrian reaches his motorcycle and gets ready to leave. Adrian keeps thinking about what he told Aaliyah: there was supposed to be a vampire on the crime scene. Suddenly, a mysterious thud catches Adrian attention.
Adrian turns to look at his friend: "Good luck with him, Aaliyah". "Thanks... I'll need it. You too, be careful" the woman replies. Adrian leaves Arthur Hawthorne's house. As he walks, sheriff Crawford and the officer named Paul can be seen talking outside. Adrian walks past them without being noticed. Once on the sidewalk, he starts untying his hair, which was formerly styled in a bun. In the meantime, he starts reminiscing the conversation he just had with Aaliyah: "The shapeshifter was going to replace Arthur Hawthorne." A thud. Adrian turns back to look what caused the noise. "But..."
