The woman goes on to explain that she hates the transformation and waking up with no memory of what happened. Adrian starts thinking that maybe the woman has a point. Also, he can't help but think that she's actually rather attractive, despite her curse. The woman sees that Adrian is getting distracted and asks if he's even listening to her. Adrian tries to appear professional and reassures the woman that he is not going to hurt her. The woman is now curious and wants to know more about the vampire Adrian is hunting.
The girl looks down, now saddened, and plays with the sleeve of her hoodie: "Think I enjoy turning into a bloody beast at night and then waking up naked in some random place with no memory of what happened?" Adrian slowly starts to lower his gun, a mischievous smile starting to show for the first time on his face. "Alright, she's got a point" he thinks "...and if it wasn't for the beast with no memories part, I don't think I'd mind waking up to her naked in my be-" "Are you even listening to me?" the girl interrupts his thoughts. Adrian blushes, embarassed, and nearly loses his grip on the gun: "Ah, er..." he tries to regain his composure: "...Fine, let's say I believe you. Either way, you were not my target tonight." The girl crosses her arms, now a little curious: "You said you were after a vampire?" "Who's probably gone by now, yes" says Adrian, as he puts his gun away.

Regan: Are you even listening to me?
Adrian: Ah, er... Fine, let's say I believe you. Either way, you were not my target tonight.

Regan: You said you were after a vampire?
Adrian: Who's probably gone by now, yes.
