Aaaand... that's the last page of Chapter 4 :) I'm going on a little bit of hiatus after this one to rebuild my buffer. The plan is to get at least five pages done before I can come back to post again, which means I'll need to take at least the whole month of May and probably the first few weeks of June. (Adrian turns to look at them, they seem embarassed)
Can’t promise anything, though.
Crawford: Webster! At last! Here, follow me.
Adrian: Mph.
(Policemen still embarassed in the background)
Aaliyah: (blocks Adrian) You can’t do this all alone, Adrian.
Adrian: I know.
Aaliyah: Good.
Adrian: …But I also know that I don’t want to put your lives more at risk than they already are.
